Berkeley Shambhala’s uplifted meditation hall and community room are resources that we offer to our community and organizations who share our vision of creating a kind, sane society that celebrates humanity’s goodness. Our Center is located in downtown Berkeley, at the corner of Bancroft and Fulton Streets, with convenient access to BART.
Available spaces include a 450 sq. ft. community room with couches, comfortable chairs, counters and tables for serving food or tea, and our main meditation hall, an 1,800 sq. ft. space with hardwood floors and sound system. We also have a small 360 sq. ft. meditation room near the main meditation hall that is perfect for discussion groups, personal interviews, or small group practices. Other breakout rooms are also available upon request.
We are delighted to offer a variety of renting options which could include a prep kitchen, A/V equipment, and restrooms. Current renters include Karuna Training and the UNtraining. We have also hosted graduation parties, business events, and weddings. For rates and more information, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
