Regional Festival: Not Afraid to Be A Fool

    We have to be willing to be a fool and not always try to be a wise guy. We could almost say that being willing to be a fool is one of the first wisdoms.

    You are invited to our Regional Festival: "Not Afraid to Be a Fool" including a ceremony with Jane Arthur, Shambhala's Minister of Government, to acknowledge the launch of Northern California Shambhala Inc., followed by an afternoon of fun and celebration for members, friends and the whole family. This event is FREE!
    Plus: Dance music and karaoke with Alex v. G. and Katrin aka the Kalex Party Dance Duo Extreme
    The schedule includes:
    2-3: Inauguration of Northern California Shambhala Inc. (NCSI)
    with ceremonial signing of charters by all centers and talk by Ms. Arthur
    3-5: Festival: various playful and family-friendly activities, including Interplay with Kelsey (Improvisational Movement, Song and Storytelling), Collaborative Art Creation with Rebekah, a Sing-a-Long Circle, and opportunities for each center in the region to develop an offering with local flavor.  Families and children are warmly invited!
    5-6: Harvest: presenting the riches of the Festival
    6-8:30: Dance music and karaoke with Alex v. G. and Katrin aka the Kalex Party Dance Duo Extreme
    8:30: Clean Up Party 
    9: Close
    Please bring: party food and drink to share and your own plate/utensils/cup

    This is a free event!  Donations are very welcome to cover the costs of the event.
