Women's Heart of Recovery

September 21st—December 20th

    Room: Meditation Room

The Heart of Recovery incorporates the practice of meditation, readings, and discussion. Our meeting is open to anyone who identifies as a woman and is recovering from any addiction.

We fold into our practice the Shambhala and Buddhist tenets of Heart of Recovery and Refuge Recovery -- which call upon mindfulness, compassion, forgiveness, generosity and renunciation -- to heal the pain and suffering that addiction has caused in our lives and the lives of our loved ones. We understand that "all beings have the power and potential to free themselves from suffering."

Our goal is to integrate the basic sanity of the Dharma and the basic goodness of meditation with our commitment to recovery.
