The Five Wisdom energies, or Buddha families, are an integral part of Tibetan Buddhism. Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche created five postures, practiced in colored environments, to activate our subtle energetic body and invoke the five patterns of energy of our inherent nature. This exemplifies his genius in bringing esoteric teachings to the West.

The practice cultivates personal integration through working with the basic elements of our experience–body, emotions, thoughts and surroundings. We become vividly aware of the energies of both the outer, phenomenal world and the inner, psychological world. We have the potential for all the energies—simple presence, clarity, richness, passion, and activity—and can display different energies in different areas of our lives.

Discovering the unique way we perceive and interact with our world can yield enormous insight into our patterns of behavior, emotions and relationships. Opening to our energy with gentleness and kindness allows us to develop unconditional confidence and a tender heart. We uncover our strengths and let them shine! The practice is a vehicle for self-discovery and a ground for working with others, both personally and professionally.

Meditation, personal process work, creative expression, talks, discussion, and community all come together to guide us into embodied transformation. Open to those both experienced and new to the Five Wisdoms.

Special note: The fee for program includes material costs of $10 per participant and pre-registration is essential to having the materials available.
