World Harmony Chorus Rehearsals
Presented by World Harmony Chorus in the shrine room at the Berkeley Shambhala Center
World Harmony Chorus rehearses at the Berkeley Shambhala Center and a new semester is beginning.
All adults and children over 9 (accompanied by a participating adult) are welcome.
Tuesdays, Oct 1 to Feb 4 2025 • 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Please arrive 6:45 - 6:50 pm to be let into the building, and grab a chair.
Try it free for a couple Tuesdays before committing to the semester. No auditions or reading skills are required. There is a sliding scale fee to participate; no one is turned away for lack of funds.
Still time to join!
- Beginners can start any Tuesday in October (10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29).
- Experienced singers can begin by the end of November.
The chorus will sing stunning arrangements of a cappella songs from Egypt, Argentina, Basque Country and Georgia (the country).
Some of you may remember World Harmony Chorus Director Betsy Blakeslee from Pema Chodron retreats. Betsy teaches with joy and patience so singers of all levels enjoy learning, harmony and community.
